About

Who is Maria?

I am a Los Angeles native who is proud of her Mexican heritage.  A graduate of the UCLA School of Theater, Film & Television, I have appeared in over 45 films and television shows, such as Lucifer, Shameless and Grey’s Anatomy.  I have been a private acting coach for many years, and now enjoy being the acting coach for Burbank High School’s drama program.

An avid reader and self proclaimed book nerd, I read and review over 100 books a year. I have turned that passion into a career in audiobook narrating, and bring character development, accents, and deep understanding of text to my work.

I am a busy wife and mother of both daughters and fur babies, but still manage to serve on the board of directors for Colorado’s Wild Animal Sanctuary.
